Born in Sacramento, Calif., Kendra Jae started singing and dancing at an early age and bubbled with creative potential. Introduced by her father to the soothing sounds of R&B and rhythmic flows of hip-hop, Kendra Jae began establishing her musical roots. Determined to pursue her passion for singing and dancing, her parents shuttled her back and forth from Sacramento to Los Angeles for auditions and casting calls. Upon graduating high school, Kendra Jae became the youngest dancer on Beyoncé’s Formation World Tour and went on to dance with other notable artists, like Drake, Dua Lipa, Gwen Stefani, and more. During that time Kendra Jae wrote and recorded music of her own.

In 2020, she released her first single and followed it up with a collaboration with Saweetie. The two linked up on her single “Seesaw” which has over 2 million stream and was featured on Saweetie’s Pretty Summer Playlist: Season 1 EP. Now, she kicks off her next phase with the single “BIG.” Over a throwback beat and sizzling production, she flexes her dynamic range with blunt bars before dropping a hard-hitting hook.
