The Challenge will take place between 9:00:01 AM Pacific Daylight Time (“PDT”) on August 25, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 PM PDT on July 31, 2027 or when all prizes have been awarded, whichever is sooner (“Challenge Period”).

ELIGIBILITY: CHALLENGE IS OPEN TO INDIVIDUAL PLAYERS WHO ARE AT LEAST 13 YEARS OF AGE AND WHO HAVE A VALID NBA 2K AND MYPLAYER ACCOUNT. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. AN ELIGIBLE MINOR MUST HAVE A PARENT’S OR LEGAL GUARDIAN’S PERMISSION TO PARTICIPATE. PLAYERS MUST OWN OR HAVE ACCESS TO NBA 2K27 ON PLAYSTATION 5 (“PS5”), XBOX SERIES (“XBS”), SWITCH 2 OR STEAM. By participating, players (and, if an eligible minor, their parent or legal guardian) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and all applicable game rules and regulations and the decisions of the judges and/or 2K Games, Inc. (“2K”), which are binding and final on all matters relating to this Challenge. Challenge is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, state and local laws.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: During the Challenge Period, to participate, play NBA 2K27 and reach the Legend VI REP tier or the Legend VIII REP tier in the in-game MyCAREER/The City game mode.

2K may prohibit any player from participating in the Challenge or receiving any prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that such player has attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of the Challenge by cheating, hacking, unfair playing practices, the use of any script, macro or other automated means of entry or if such player has otherwise violated 2K’s NBA 2K Player Code of Conduct or End User License Agreement.

WINNER NOTIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS: Potential winners will be notified via the email on file in their MyPLAYER account and may be required to execute and return an affidavit (or declaration) of eligibility, a liability release and, where lawful, a publicity release within seven (7) days of date of issuance. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, the prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or a potential winner does not respond to the initial notification within the time period specified or is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited.

CHALLENGE PRIZES:

LEGEND VI REP TIER PRIZE: Up to two hundred (200) eligible players will win a Legend VI REP Tier Prize. The first one hundred (100) eligible players to reach the Legend VI REP Tier on PS5, XBS or Switch 2, and the first one hundred (100) eligible players to reach the Legend VI REP Tier on Steam will each win a Legend VI REP Tier Prize. The Legend VI REP Tier prize includes: one (1) digital copy of NBA 2K28 Standard Edition. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $69.99 (USD) each. Limit one (1) prize per player.

LEGEND VIII REP TIER PRIZE: Up to three (3) eligible players will win a Legend VIII REP Tier Prize. The first eligible player to reach the Legend VIII REP Tier on Switch 2, the first eligible player to reach the Legend VIII REP Tier on PS5 or XBS, and the first eligible player to reach the Legend VIII REP Tier on Steam will each win a Legend VIII REP Tier Prize. The Legend VIII REP Tier Prize includes: having the winner’s likeness scanned and included in NBA 2K28; one (1) round-trip coach-class air transportation for winner from a major airport near the winner’s residence (determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to Petaluma, CA where the winner will have their likeness scanned at a scanning location determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion; one (1) standard double-occupancy hotel accommodations (including resort and service fees and taxes) for 2 nights, at a hotel determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion; and ground transportation to/from the destination airport, to/from the scanning location and the applicable hotel. If the Legend VIII Rep Tier winner is a minor, transportation and accommodations for the minor’s guardian will be provided. Guardian must be eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of departure and must travel on same itinerary and at the same time as the winner. Guest must execute a travel and publicity release.

ARV of Legend VIII REP Tier Prize: $4,000.00 (USD) each. Actual value may vary depending on air flight fluctuations, winner’s residence, and, if the winner is an eligible minor, travel accommodation for the winner’s guardian. The winner will not receive the difference between actual and approximate retail value.

Total ARV of all prizes: $25,998.00 (USD).

TRIP CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS: Taxes, meals, gratuities, baggage fees, additional ground transportation, souvenirs, travel upgrades, and any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specifically listed herein are the responsibility of the winner. Travel and accommodations subject to availability; certain restrictions and blackout dates may apply. Sponsor and the other Released Entities are NOT liable for delays, cancellation or unforeseen events related to the flights. Winner will be solely responsible for obtaining valid identification relating to acceptance and use of the travel prize packages. If in the judgment of Sponsor, air travel is not required due to Winner’s proximity to prize location, ground transportation will be substituted for roundtrip air travel at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion and no compensation or substitution will be provided for difference in prize value, if any. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prize and/or any lost, mutilated or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates. All travel arrangements will be made through Sponsor’s agent. Winner must travel on the dates determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion or prize will be forfeited. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Sponsor will make reasonable efforts to select travel dates acceptable to Winner. Trip must be booked at least twenty-one (21) days prior to departure. Travel and accommodations are subject to availability and blackout dates. Travel must be round trip. Sponsor will determine airline and flight itinerary in its sole discretion. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Challenge, and those set forth by the Sponsor’s airline carrier of choice as detailed in the passenger ticket contract.

PRIZE CONDITIONS/RESTRICTIONS: Winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes associated with acceptance and use of the prize. Winner will be issued a 1099 for the actual value of the prize for which winner will be required to provide their Social Security Number. Prize (nor any portion thereof) is non-transferable. Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. Prize may not be substituted, assigned or transferred or redeemed for cash by winners, however 2K reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of comparable or better value. Winners are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes (if any) as well as any costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

PUBLICITY GRANT: Each winner (and, if an eligible minor, their parent or legal guardian), by acceptance of a prize, except where legally prohibited, grants permission for Sponsor and its designees to use his/her name, avatar/user name and likeness, social handle/username and profile picture, address (city and state), and prize information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without further compensation, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide in perpetuity, without notice or review or approval.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: By participating in the Challenge, players (and, if an eligible minor, their parent or legal guardian) agree that 2K, NBA Properties, Inc., the National Basketball Association, the Women’s National Basketball Association, NBA Media Ventures LLC, NBA TV LLC, (collectively “the NBA Entities”) and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”) will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by players against, any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any Challenge. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, undelivered or garbled entries, in-game messages, rewards, or other communications of any kind; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Challenge, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Challenge, the functionality of the Game, the announcement of the prizes, or in any Challenge-related materials. The Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by players, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Challenge. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other player's computer or other device related to or resulting from participating in this Challenge. Players who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Challenge, the Game or any associated website or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by 2K, will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. 2K reserves the right to suspend, modify or terminate the Challenge at any time and for any reason, including, but not limited to, if any portion of the Challenge is, in 2K’s sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the 2K, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of, or participation in, the Challenge. If 2K terminates any Challenge, 2K may, at its sole discretion, either withhold the Challenge’s prize or award prizes to players who reached the Legend VI REP tier prior to the Challenge being terminated or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by 2K.
