Esports League to Hold First-Ever Draft on April 4; NBA Commissioner Adam Silver to Announce Historic First Pick –

The NBA 2K League Draft will be available for fans to view live on NBA TV and Twitch. The league’s inaugural draft will take place on Wednesday, April 4 beginning at 1 p.m. ET at The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. 

NBA TV, the NBA App, and the @NBA2KLeague Twitter handle will provide live coverage of the pre-draft press conference featuring NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, NBA 2K League Managing Director Brendan Donohue and Take-Two Interactive Chief Executive Officer Strauss Zelnick beginning at 12 p.m. ET. NBA TV will then present the entire first round of the draft.

The NBA 2K League stream on Twitch ( will offer live draft coverage from the first selection to its conclusion. Each of the 17 teams will select six players, with Silver announcing the historic first pick of the draft.
