The Game Attribute System has been updated so that your physical attributes directly determine your maximum attribute caps. Whether you’re a bruising center or a lightning-fast point guard, your height, weight, and wingspan are the foundation of your potential.

We’re also introducing a Build-as-You-Go progression model that gives you the freedom to remove attributes and reapply them elsewhere. Every combination of height, weight, and wingspan shares the exact same maximum specs, and with the ability to upgrade your attributes with MyPoints you have the flexibility to evolve your game and adjust your playstyle as your career unfolds.

NBA 2K27 introduces all-new Team Badges and Teammate Badges, fueled directly by your on-court chemistry.

There are five powerful Team Badges that impact your entire squad:

• Three of these are in-game, event-triggered Badges that give your team a massive swing in momentum when you execute.
• The other two are meta-focused Gameplan Badges that dive deep into the Xs and Os, completely altering your Offensive and Defensive Gameplan menus to dictate the flow of the game.

On a micro level, we’re introducing 12 Teammate Badges. These Badges specifically affect your direct interactions with a designated teammate. For example, if you apply the Pick-and-Roll Teammate Badge with your power forward, you’ll receive a boost when executing a pick-and-roll with her. Run that same play with a center who isn't linked to the Badge and you get nothing.

As you progress, you have two distinct upgrade paths: you can either hyper-focus the Badge to boost its power to lethal levels between you and that one specific player, or you can multiply its effects to apply to multiple teammates across the roster.

A true floor general sees the game differently. In 2K27, PlayVision is getting a massive, game-wide facelift across all modes, and The W is the perfect place to master it.

You start your career as a rookie with zero play-calling abilities. But as you progress through the season, complete in-game challenges, and earn the trust of your coaching staff, you’ll unlock the ability to dictate the offense. Progression happens gradually, unlocking quick plays first, followed by complex, player-specific sets.

To ensure you learn the ropes, the game will actively coach you on how to execute these sets. Furthermore, completing specific season-long challenges will unlock new Team Badge slots and opponent-specific game plans to help you dissect any defense.
