MyCAREER CO-OP GAME GUIDE

Team up with a friend in NBA 2K27 MyCAREER Co-Op. Play through the story, upgrade your running mate, and earn VC and Season XP together on the court.

MyCAREER CO-OP

For the first time, you can now play MyCAREER with a friend in NBA 2K27.

When you play the "Fire & Concrete" MyCAREER story mode, you’ll encounter Trace Miller, your MyPLAYER’s Running Mate in the G League and beyond. You must progress far enough in the main storyline to unlock your Running Mate, at which point you will be able to play Co-Op MyCAREER. Note that Co-Op MyCAREER can only be played in the Modern Era.

When playing MyCAREER, you have the ability to choose a build template for Trace Miller based on current NBA stars. The more you play, the more you’ll be able to upgrade Trace’s attributes to mold him into the player (and teammate) of your choosing.

You’ll be able to model Trace after nine different templates based on the following NBA superstars to best complement your MyPLAYER:

Giannis Antetokounmpo
Cade Cunningham
Stephen Curry
Luka Dončić
Kevin Durant
Anthony Edwards
Donovan Mitchell
Nikola Jokić
Kawhi Leonard

Invite a friend to take control of Trace in your MyCAREER and hit the court. You’ll experience everything together, from gameplay to cutscenes. You’ll also both earn the same amount of Season XP and VC when playing—and if your friend logs off, Trace will be controlled by the AI.
