Learn how to create a Crew in NBA 2K26 with this helpful step-by-step guide. Establish your Crew and start competing in The City to earn rewards.
NBA 2K26 introduces all-new Crews, allowing you to form groups of up to 50 players to complete Weekly Goals, level up, and earn exciting rewards.
If you’re looking to start a Crew with your friends, doing so in NBA 2K26 is quick and easy. Learn how to get started with this step-by-step guide, so you can start recruiting other MyPLAYERs.

Start a Crew
Once you’ve created your MyPLAYER and you’re in The City, pull up the Menu and shuffle through the tabs at the top until you reach Crews.
Within the Crews tab, you’ll see three options:
- Join A Crew
- Start A Crew
- Invitations
For this section, click Start A Crew to pull up the Crew Creator. Within the Crew Creator, you’ll be asked to provide a Crew Name, an Abbreviation for your Crew Name, Team Colors, and more. Here are all of the preferences you’ll need to fill out:
- Crew Name
- Abbreviation
- Bio
- Logo
- Crew Background
- Crew Privacy
- Focus
- Active Times
- Vibe
- Mic Requirement
- Region
Your preferences can be as specific or vague as you desire. Choose from Historic, Primary, and Secondary NBA team logos, confirm if you want your Crew to be Open, Invite Only, or Private, select a window for when your Crew is typically active, and a Region where your Crew is based.
After you’ve filled out your preferences, click the Menu button, then select Create Crew to confirm your Crew details.
With your Crew established, you can now post messages for your Crew members, edit your preferences at any time in Crew Management, and manage invitations.
