What is the NBA 2K Producer Series?

The NBA 2K Producer Series is a global invitation for artists around the world to submit their best rhymes using music production from some of the leading producers in music. Artists can visit the https://nba.2k.com/2k23/2kbeats/producer-series landing page to download their preferred beat from any of the four producers and upload their track to Twitter, Instagram or TikTok using the #NBA2KProducerSeries hashtag.

Standout submissions hand-picked by each producer will be highlighted every two weeks on the NBA 2K social channels

How can I submit my song to be considered for the NBA 2K Producer Series?

Artists can submit their entries using the #NBA2KProducerSeries hashtag on TikTok, Instagram and Twitter and tagging @NBA2K. We’ll be selecting some of our favorites alongside each producer to highlight on NBA 2K’s social media platforms.

Will I be considered for a chance to be included in the NBA 2K soundtrack?

2K may consider submissions for future NBA 2K Soundtrack inclusion.

Can I be signed by any of these producers?

The NBA 2K Producer Series’ goal is to highlight untapped, unheard talent using beats from the most notable producers in music. Submissions will only be considered for highlighting talent across the NBA 2K social platforms. 

Will NBA 2K or any of the producers own the content I submit with the hashtag #NBA2KProducer Series?

NBA2K and producers will not own your vocal contribution (i.e., your bars) to the submitted content. 

Can I use any of the provided beats for my own music projects?

Beats provided for the NBA 2K Producer series are solely for the use for any submissions to be considered as a standout submission. The beats are solely owned by the producers and may not be used for any other purpose.

Do submissions need to be clean to be considered?

All submissions to the NBA 2K Producer Series will be required to be clean, in this case, free of explicit of references to profanity, sex, violence, racial epithets, gambling, alcohol or drug use.

Is this only open to English speaking artists?

Submissions are welcome from all permissible territories globally in English to be considered.

Who is Bizness Boi?

  • Andre "Bizness Boi" Robertson is helping redefine the sound of R&B/Hip-Hop.
