It’s time to celebrate 25 years of NBA 2K in MyTEAM! For the first time, every Season Level Reward is a new Player Card for your collection including Free Agent Michael Jordan, 38 NBA 2K 25th Anniversary players, and the first Pink Diamond Level 40, Jimmy Butler!

Whether you’re jumping in with the Free Pass, or picking up the Pro Pass or Hall of Fame Pass to start your Season with the first NBA 2K cover athlete Diamond Allen Iverson, let’s breakdown what you can look forward to in NBA 2K24’s Season 3 of MyTEAM!

The 38 NBA 2K 25th Anniversary cards included in Season 3’s Season Level Rewards contain homages to some of the community-favorite players in NBA 2K history, including some shoutouts to favorite MyTEAM Player Cards from the most recent 10 years of NBA 2K. For DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine, and Shaquille O’Neal, these cards can evolve into higher overall versions of themselves. If you pick up the Pro Pass or Hall of Fame pass, these cards come with their evolutions already completed at the more powerful OVR rating.

To bring more fan favorites to NBA 2K24’s MyTEAM, Season 3 will begin with a premium set of 25th Anniversary cards in the Player Market and Pack Market. Featuring a trio of Diamonds, Luol Deng, Rudy Gay, and Russell Westbrook, and some of the most iconic MyTEAM titans of all time with Bol Bol, Tacko Fall, and Yao Ming, as well as the return of NBA 2K23 favorite Tim Thomas.

For those who have defeated the All-Time Domination, earning 99 Stars on Hall of Fame difficulty, a new update is being added to the Amethyst Pau Gasol reward card. Earn Pau, then drop his career-high 46 points in a Domination game to evolve his card into a more powerful Diamond!

With group play completed for the inaugural In-Season Tournament, the colorful courts NBA teams have been playing on have been added to MyTEAM. Alongside the new courts, the City Uniforms that teams have been wearing during the tournament have also been added to MyTEAM. Plus, the four Classic Uniforms worn this Season in the NBA have also been added.  All of these cards are available in the Pack Market or through Award Packs with the following Collection Rewards:

• Complete the East and West IST Court Collections for Hall of Fame Badges.
• Complete the City Uniform collections for more Hall of Fame Badges.
• Complete the Classic Uniform collection for the Diamond Vintage Ball Card.

A couple of NBA Tournament Battles cards have evolved from Emeralds to Diamonds for their teams going undefeated in their group! Add these cards to your collection, complete their evolution requirements in-game, and upgrade them in the Edit Player menu. With the bracket set, the remaining teams’ cards could still receive additional evolutions depending on how their teams progress. Please note that the maximum number of evolutions NBA Tournament Battles cards will get is 5, so once that count is met, that Diamond evolution player card will not receive additional updates.

To counter the first Winter chills of the year, the Diamond Fire Ball has been added to the Pack Market! Compete with a fire trail with heated handles and sizzling shots to light up your competition. Seek it out in Packs & Boxes during Season 3!

With Season 3, the repeatable-daily Pick-Up Challenges have been expanded from 1 game to 10! Everyday, you can complete these 10 full-lineup challenges to earn more rewards for your MyTEAM against an opponent based on your lineup.

Collect all 15 Thanksgiving Event Cards to complete the Thanksgiving Mural! Completing the mural will reward you with an unsellable Diamond Player pack, which contains one Diamond Player Card released thus far in MyTEAM (including Freaky Giannis & Majestic King James).

Royalty arrives in MyTEAM with Majestic. Get ready for a new regal set to earn and collect with the All-Time Leading Scorer as the Majestic Event Collection Reward!

Diamond LeBron James is arriving in MyTEAM! King James is the ultimate Collection Reward for the Majestic event in MyTEAM. On November 22 you will be able to add Diamond LeBron to your collection by completing his set, but this King James card will also be pullable as a Special Insert in the Pack Market beginning tomorrow, November 15.

The Majestic: King James set will consist of 12 Player Cards. 10 of which will be earnable via Agendas, or from the Player and Pack Markets, while the final two Diamonds are Collection Rewards for the Majestic sets releasing on Friday November 17 and Wednesday November 22.

The Majestic event will consist of four drops over the next week. Getting started on Wednesday November 15 with a five card set. All five of these Player Cards are available to earn via Agendas, while also available directly in the Player Market, or pullable alongside Special Insert Diamond LeBron James in the Pack Market.

The Greek Freak, Giannis Antetokounmpo returns to NBA 2K24’s MyTEAM with a powerful Diamond PF/C card! Giannis will be available Halloween Day, Tuesday 10/31, as the ultimate Freaky Event Collection Reward. However! This amazing card will also be available as a Special Insert in Freaky Packs & Boxes which will expand each day towards Halloween with more and more Player Cards.

It all starts Friday 10/27 with the first Freaky set to be released, featuring PG/SG Diamond Magic Johnson as both the Collection Reward and as a Special Insert in Freaky Packs & Boxes. This first Freaky set contains highlight cards, including Diamond Paul George, Amethyst Andrei Kirilenko, and MyTEAM community favorite Gold Sim Bhullar.

Each day towards Halloween new sets will be added to the Freaky collection, with each update containing three players and a Collection Reward. These Player Cards, as well as the three Amethyst Collection Rewards, will also be available in the Freaky Packs & Boxes in the Pack Market.

On Halloween, the final set will be released for the Freaky Collection, with two new Diamond Players stretching your opponent’s defense, as well as making Diamond Giannis available as the ultimate Freaky Event Collection Reward for completing all five sets!

Are you ready for the new Season? NBA Basketball is back and MyTEAM celebrated last year’s award winners with new cards in NBA 2K24’s MyTEAM. The NBA is Back Packs & Boxes will be available until Tuesday 10/31.

Next week, the brand-new In-Season Tournament will begin on Friday 11/3 and MyTEAM will be firing up new Player Cards to collect, and evolve, throughout the IST. Stay tuned for more info in the next MyTEAM Playbook on that.

For 2K24, three new card types will be used to celebrate fantastic performances throughout the NBA season: 2K Numbers, Breakout, and NBA Primetime.

With 2K Numbers, players will get cards for out of this world performances! Think Donovan Mitchell scoring 71, when players put up stat lines that should only be possible in NBA 2K, they could get a 2K Numbers card in MyTEAM.

Many times throughout the NBA season, a player will put together an amazing, unexpected performance. There is no criteria that would guarantee a Breakout card for a player, but some accomplishments that could warrant a card include; a career high stat line, hitting a game winner, playing elite defense, willing their team to victory, etc.

Each season there are NBA matchups everyone looks forward to watching! For each NBA Primetime release, a player from both teams in a marquee matchup will be given a card before the game. The player whose team wins the real-life matchup will get an Evolution added to their card the next day to celebrate their team's win.

MJ’s Diamond will not only be available as a Special Insert in Liftoff Packs & Boxes, but he will also be available directly in the Player Market. Like all other cards in the Player Market, whether it be with MTP or VC, no matter how you want to get one of the true GOATs of the game into your MyTEAM collection, you’ll be able to with Liftoff Michael Jordan!

If you add this Diamond MJ to your collection during the launch weekend of Season 2, you will have an exclusive Agenda ready to be completed for a limited time. Score 23 points in a game with Diamond Michael Jordan in any of MyTEAM’s game modes to earn 50,000 MTP for completing the agenda. There will also be similar Agendas available for Diamond Carmelo Anthony and Diamond Tim Duncan. Agendas will expire Sunday October 22nd at 11:59pm PDT.

Rise up the Season 2 Ascension with Ruby Christian Laettner as the Grand Prize, and remember, Pro Pass and Hall of Fame Pass players get additional picks on the Season Ascension board. The Pro Pass and Hall of Fame Pass also includes an Amethyst Donovan Mitchell, a HOF Hyperdrive Badge, as well as more earnable MTP, VC, 2XP Coins, Diamond Shoes, additional HOF Badges, and more as extra rewards for each Season Level!

Last week, NBA legend and MyTEAM community favorite Terry Dischinger passed away. In tribute to the three-time All-Star and former NBA Rookie of the Year, his Amethyst card in MyTEAM will be earnable as Season 2’s Salary Cap reward. Earn the Ruby reward player for each of the 3 Salary Cap rounds in Season 2 to add him to your collection, the first of which will be Ruby Yi Jianlian.

They’re back! A new collection of Historic Sleeved Alternate Uniforms has been added to MyTEAM. These Gold Uniform Cards have been added to Packs & Boxes in the Pack Market, as well as the Uniform Award Pack, and in the new Sleeved Uniform Award Pack which can be earned in most MyTEAM modes starting in Season 2. Collect them all for a Hall of Fame Badge Pack Collection Reward.

How many championships have you won in Unlimited’s Championship Weekend Events? Every Friday-Sunday you can string together four wins in a seven game series to earn that weekend’s championship ring! On top of the great Lifetime awards available throughout NBA 2K24 for earning rings, Season 2 brings three new rewards:
