12 Days of Giving

It’s officially a 2K Holiday Takeover in NBA 2K25! Throughout the month of December, jingle all the way down candy cane lane and enjoy special winter and holiday-themed content in The City and MyTEAM. Just like your presents, you’ll have to wait to see what's coming down the chimney; however, we are eager to share that the 12 Days of Giving event is returning in Season 3!

Starting on December 14, 2K25’s 12 Days of Giving celebration will feature a new surprise each day! Stay tuned to the official NBA 2K social handles for more.

MyTEAM

One of the many keys to winning in the NBA is having a surplus of 3-and-D players, meaning it’s crucial to have guys who can play lockdown defense on the perimeter but also knock down three pointers at a high clip. For Season 3 of MyTEAM, we’re introducing a handful of cards that can provide similar two-way production for your squad.

Start the Season 3 rewards track with one of the most prolific 3-and-D players of all-time: Klay Thompson. The former Golden State Warrior and four-time NBA champion needs little to no introduction; this Level 1 Klay Thompson Evo card has the potential to reach Amethyst and can add some sharpshooting versatility to your lineup.

Continue your ascent to the top of the Season 3 rewards mountain and reach Level 20 for a Diamond Jae Crowder card. The 12-year NBA veteran has made a career out of guarding some of the league’s best players and shooting a respectable 34% from beyond the arc. Robinson was a perennial MVP candidate—he won the award in 1995—during his 14 seasons with the San Antonio Spurs he averaged 21.1 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 3 blocks per game. With these towering bigs anchoring your lineup, you’ll have the potential to defend the paint and spread the floor.

NBA 2K25 ANTI-CHEAT ON PC

Patch Update 3.0 for PC, releasing on Steam shortly before Season 3 begins on November 29, will introduce Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC). EAC is an industry-leading service designed to combat cheating tools and other unauthorized third-party software with an evolving approach that can counter new cheating techniques. 

This implementation is part of the ongoing efforts by Visual Concepts and our Game Security team to detect and minimize cheating in NBA 2K. It works alongside existing measures, such as behavior-based bans, anti-tampering protections, and the in-game reporting system, to protect the integrity of competitive gameplay.

To help ensure a smooth transition, we recommend completing the following steps before installing Update 3.0, which will also install EAC if it’s not already present on your system:

• Update your PC to the latest version of Windows to maintain compatibility.
• Make sure your graphics card and other essential drivers are up to date.
• Update hardware control software (e.g. RGB lighting) to its latest version to resolve potential security vulnerabilities, or disable it if a compatible version is not available.

After installation, you may see a message whenever you start NBA 2K25 letting you know EAC is initializing.

If you still experience issues related to EAC—such as error codes or trouble launching the game—after completing these steps, please share your feedback with us through 2K Support or our official Discord feedback channels.
