Composed of 17 athletes, these ambassadors are championing the sport and leading the next generation of hoopers in 2K25 and beyond. Of the 17 featured athletes, NBA 2K25’s cover athletes are among them, including Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum, on the Standard and All-Star Editions, two-time WNBA champion A’ja Wilson on the cover of the WNBA and All-Star Edition, and NBA Legend Vince Carter on the Hall of Fame Edition.
JAYSON TATUM
The NBA has a new heir to the throne, and his name is Jayson Tatum. For years, the Boston Celtics forward has been touted as the player that will carry the sport into the future. On the heels of winning his first NBA championship, the five-time All-Star is answering his call to greatness. A'JA WILSON
The Las Vegas Aces hit the jackpot when they drafted A’ja Wilson with the No. 1 overall pick of the 2018 WNBA Draft. Since then, she’s dominated the WNBA landscape on both ends of the floor, earning Rookie of the Year, two MVP awards, back-to-back Defensive Player of the Year awards, WNBA Finals MVP, and hoisting two WNBA Championships over a six year span. She’s a force to be reckoned with on the court and a future Hall of Famer, more than befitting for a NBA 2K cover athlete.
