The NBA 2K franchise is proud to welcome you to NBA 2K25, where you can experience all-new features, compete in added MyTEAM game modes Showdown and Breakout, chase earnable content, and explore a vibrant, hoops environment in The City on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC! During each Season of NBA 2K25, The City as well as The Neighborhood (available on PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch) will serve as the backdrop for all things basketball, with the fun set to begin in Season 1.

Hit the courts in MyCAREER, MyTEAM, or along the Boulevard of the Stars in The City and earn XP to start climbing the Season rewards ladder, with 40 Levels of boosts, cosmetics, and other rewards. Before NBA 2K25’s Early Tip-Off starting September 4th, take some time to learn what’s coming in Season 1.

MyCAREER

Make your NBA dreams become a reality in MyCAREER mode, where you can create a MyPLAYER from scratch before pursuing superstardom and leading the next great NBA dynasty. Throughout MyCAREER, you’ll have the chance to win Rookie of the Year, rise above the competition to claim MVP honors, and raise championship banners into the rafters. For the first time, as you accomplish these milestones you’ll earn XP along the way and level up to earn new Season rewards.

Season 1 is packed with a bevy of MyCAREER rewards, with Emotes, Green Releases, MyPLAYER cosmetics, customized MyCOURT murals, and more available to earn through gameplay. Climb from Level 1 to Level 40 to reap the rewards and expand your ever-growing collection.

This is just a sample of all the amazing rewards available to earn during Season 1, but we want to take a moment to call attention specifically to the Sickle Cell Awareness Ball reward, available at Level 5 in both MyCAREER and MyTEAM. For Season 1 of NBA 2K25, we’ll be raising awareness for this long-overlooked disease by collaborating with the basketball community to spotlight sickle cell disease and raise awareness on a national scale. NBA 2K25 will introduce Badge Elevators for the first time—these are permanent boosts for individual Badges with up to three levels. Badge Elevators will be earnable throughout the year via Season rewards, offering boosts of up to two levels during Seasons 1-4 and up to three levels during Seasons 5-8. In Season 1, players who reach Level 40 will earn an Instant +2 Level Boost and can be applied to any Badge of your choosing. Take your game to new heights and raise your Badge potency with these useful rewards.

MyTEAM

Community feedback is important to us, and the Visual Concepts team took a lot of it to heart when creating MyTEAM for NBA 2K25. The popular mode received a handful of updates, including the return of the Auction House, an all-new single-player game mode called Breakout, other head-to-head modes Showdown and King of the Court, and a faithful recreation of NBA 2K16’s Rivet City Championship MyPARK as Triple Threat Park on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC. While new and returning players should love the updates to MyTEAM, the card-collecting experience is what makes MyTEAM such a unique and competitive thrill, and this year features all-new cards and packs for you to open.

Start your NBA 2K25 collection with the Level 1 Trendsetter MyTEAM Rewards, containing a Ruby Jayson Tatum Card, 15,000 VC, 3x Promo Packs, and a 120 MIN 2XP Coin. Once you’ve acquired the reigning NBA champion and inserted him into your lineup, continue earning XP to climb the Season rewards ladder and round out your lineup with the Level 4 Emerald Yao Ming Card, Level 10 Emerald Jaylen Brown Card that evolves to Ruby, sharpshooting Level 16 Sapphire Mike Miller Card, and skilled Level 36 Diamond Tony Parker Card. Last but not least, reach Level 40 and receive the Pink Diamond Tracy McGrady Card to unleash a full-on offensive barrage. In addition, you can earn Green Releases, Ascension Picks, Badge Option Packs of different rarities, MyTEAM Points (MTP), Uniforms, and more!

It’s been a great year for women’s basketball, with the WNBA garnering headlines and widespread attention for a number of reasons. Rookie phenoms Angel Reese, Caitlin Clark, and Kamilla Cardoso continue to captivate crowds with sensational performances, Sabrina Ionescu and Breanna Stewart have the New York Liberty positioned for a title run, and A’ja Wilson helped lead Team USA to another gold medal in Paris. This has been a season for the books and the best may still be yet to come, with the WNBA Playoffs still on the horizon and all-new rewards arriving in Season 1 of NBA 2K25!
