25 DAYS OF 2K
Celebrate 25 years of NBA 2K and countdown to the holidays during the 25 Days of 2K event! Starting December 1 and ending on December 25, there’s something to do or experience every day of the event. During the 25 Days of 2K, we’re giving out MyCAREER and MyTEAM Locker Codes, paying homage with 25th Anniversary cards that feature throwbacks to NBA 2K21, 2K18, 2K9, and even the first edition of NBA 2K, holding special events, and more! The franchise has come a long way since the early 2000s, and we’re eager to celebrate its storied history with you!
MyCAREER
Coastal climates may not be conducive to the snow and frosty temperatures of the North Pole, but even Santa Claus deserves a beach vacation once in a while. This holiday season, the sandy shores of The City and the seaside cliffs of The Neighborhood are spreading holiday cheer with twinkling lights, snowmen (they won’t melt, don’t worry), and more jolly decorations. For the next six weeks, stuff the stat sheet and earn XP to climb the rewards ladder and earn seasonal items—some of which might be on your wishlist.
Starting at Level 1, you’ll receive a Season 3 themed Tee and Basketball; progress further and you’ll have the chance to earn shot meters, 2XP Coins, Allen Iverson’s Hairstyle, Floor Setters, Boosted Accessories, Ball Trails, a Pocket Bike, Emotes, and more. While it is the season of giving, you’ll have to be nice on the court and accumulate some XP if you want to earn the Level 30 Mascot Costume. Thankfully, cross-progression across MyCAREER and MyTEAM makes it easier to level up, so reaching Level 30 and beyond is more accessible and achievable than ever. For those who are able to reach Level 40, New Gen players will be rewarded with a Gold Floor Setter, while Current Gen players will earn an Extra Badge Point. Unwrap more items and expand your ever-growing collection during Season 3.
IN-SEASON TOURNAMENT
The NBA In-Season Tournament is in full swing and it’s unquestionably heightened the competition to start the regular season. From the noticeable uptick in physicality and intensity to the redesigned courts, the tournament’s injected excitement and enthusiasm into the start of the NBA year. In NBA 2K24 on New Gen consoles, we’ve added the vibrant courts featuring the NBA Cup to MyCAREER and MyTEAM and updated each team with the City jerseys. MyTEAM
Only two Seasons into NBA 2K24 and we’ve already released a handful of powerful MyTEAM cards and collections, featuring some of your favorite players from the modern era and NBA legends who dominated in their heyday. In Season 3, we’re releasing the first Pink Diamond Player Cards, featuring Kevin Garnett, Hakeem Olajuwon, and Jimmy Butler, giving you the ability to improve your collection even more, and offering even more lineup combinations for you to experiment with. For the first time, Season 3’s level rewards contain 40 Player Cards, one at every level with Hall of Famers, MVPs, All-Stars, Rookie of the Years, and community favorites representing the 25th anniversary of NBA 2K—let’s take a look at a few.
Start Season 3 with a six-time NBA champion, five-time MVP winner, a former Defensive Player of the Year, and one of the greatest basketball players of all-time—none other than Michael Jordan himself. Add the Level 1 Free Agent Michael Jordan card to your lineup and experience an immediate impact on the offensive and defensive end of the floor. MJ is synonymous with success on the court, and hopefully that translates to your squad.
Before he was an NBA Champion and two-time MVP winner, Giannis Antetokounmpo was a budding prospect from Greece with bounding athleticism and size. Insert the Level 2 Gold Giannis Antetokounmpo card into your lineup and give your team some length with the talented rookie’s 7’3” wingspan. Showcase Giannis’ untapped potential and remind people why he was the No. 15 overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft.
Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan are NBA All-Stars, while Shaquille O’Neal is a four-time NBA champion and one of the most dominant players in NBA history. But what if I told you it’s possible that they could be even better? Season 3 features a trio of Evolution cards with the Level 4 Gold DeMar DeRozan, Level 13 Gold Zach LaVine, and Level 28 Sapphire Shaquille O’Neal rewards. Build on their unique talent and skills by completing challenges to make them even stronger. Pick up the Pro Pass or Hall of Fame Pass in Season 3 to receive already-evolved versions of these players!
Season 3 boasts a star-studded cast of NBA Champions and decorated All-Stars, with the aforementioned players coming through alongside Level 23 Sapphire Dell Curry, Level 30 Ruby Stephen Curry, Level 36 Amethyst Steve Nash, and Level 39 Diamond Amar’e Stoudemire. Every level of the Season rewards ladder features a player card, ending with one of the first Pink Diamond Player Cards of NBA 2K24, Level 40 Pink Diamond Jimmy Butler!
Accompanying Butler’s Pink Diamond at Level 40 are two more earnable Pink Diamonds in Season 3. With MyTEAM’s player rewards for modes getting an upgrade to Amethyst, collecting them all in Season 3 and clearing out the Token Market’s players will get you Season 3’s Ultimate Reward card, Pink Diamond Kevin Garnett. Filling out the trio of these powerful reward cards is Pink Diamond Hakeem Olajuwon, who can be earned by reaching impressive win totals or Season Point tiers in MyTEAM’s seasonal modes during Season 3. Whether you want to compete against the community in multiplayer games, or rack up the wins in Single Player modes like Triple Threat, ‘The Dream’ can be yours by specializing in your mode of choice!
